Android and iOS App Hosting

Hello team! Need your help in selecting app VPS hostingcompany for both Android and iOS apps. My developer suggested Hostgator, but we were thinking Google App Engine considering it offers a free trial period and we’ll need a month or two to test the app on their servers first.

Any advice?
