Anybody using Embarq DSL?

I used to have Comcast and on my router, my WAN IP was a public IP. I now have Embarq DSL and my WAN IP is actually a private class C IP. I want to setup my router to allow incoming traffic for a program I use but am unsure how to do it.
Can anyone tell me how I would determine the public IP to use to hit my home network?
