Hi everyone,
I recently installed the latest Windows 11 updates on my workstation (22H2), and ever since, File Explorer has been noticeably slower. Simple actions like opening folders, right-clicking files, or switching drives take a couple of seconds longer than before.
I’ve already tried:
Restarting Windows Explorer
Clearing the File Explorer history
Checking for disk errors
Booting into Safe Mode (issue persists)
The system is running on an SSD with plenty of free space, and overall performance outside Explorer seems normal.
Is anyone else seeing this or found a workaround? I’m wondering if it’s tied to the update or something else on my system.
Thanks in advance!
