Curious what people here are messing around with outside their day job. I’ve been spending my evenings testing different AI image generation tools, mostly for a side project involving product photography and design mockups.
What surprised me is how much the quality has jumped in just the last year or so. A lot of the earlier tools produced obviously fake looking output, distorted hands, weird proportions, inconsistent lighting. The newer generation of tools handles a lot of that much better now, especially for more specific use cases like fashion, interior design, and product staging rather than general art generation.
Anyone else tinkering with this stuff for personal projects? Curious what people are building and which tools you’ve found actually useful versus which ones are just hype. Always interested to hear what other IT folks are doing outside the 9 to 5.
