Anyone using lightweight tools to improve leadership in tech environments?

Hey all,
So I’ve been in the tech space for a while, mostly working with product and engineering teams. One thing I keep noticing is that we have tons of tools for tracking tasks, shipping code, managing infra, etc.—but almost nothing that helps with actual leadership and communication inside the team.

Yeah, we’ve got Slack, Jira, Notion… but those are mostly task-focused. What about the human side? Things like:

Checking in with devs without adding meetings

Giving or collecting feedback that’s not a chore

Tracking team health without a full-blown HR tool

I recently stumbled on this tool that’s focused on leadership support and team engagement on ls-s.com. It’s designed more for managers and HR, but it integrates with systems like Microsoft Teams and works in the background—kind of like a pulse check or soft feedback loop that doesn’t overwhelm people.

Honestly, I feel like this layer is missing in most tech stacks. We obsess over metrics, but ignore emotional bandwidth until someone burns out or leaves.

Anyone here tried to solve this with tech? Would love to hear what you’re using—or if you’ve built your own thing.
