apache install

Hi !
first i have Unix Server (HP) i installed the apache server http Ver 1.3.9 after the installion i enter to the folder conf and i update the file httpd.conf i change the Group nogroup to Group other.
i need to create the virtual dirictory How?
if u can to explane it step bt step thank aloot.
