Apache/Java vs. IIS/ASP

We have developed web based applications using Perl & Mason and we are recommending that we write new apps in Java rather than ASP. We also need to access business COM objects (omapi)to get at the business rules. we are thinking of utilizing the J-Integra bridging technology to get at the COM objects. Does anyone have experience using J-Integra and what has been your experience using this bridging tool.
