I’ve been facing an issue with an app lagging badly on my Windows 10 laptop and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar.
The app installs fine, but after a few minutes of use, it starts freezing, taking longer to respond, and sometimes even crashes. My laptop specs are decent (8GB RAM, SSD, and updated Windows), so I don’t think it’s a hardware limitation. I’ve already tried basic fixes like restarting the system, disabling background apps, and checking for Windows updates, but the lag still shows up.
One thing I noticed is that the performance seems to depend a lot on where the app is downloaded from. Earlier, I installed it from a random source and it was much worse. Later, I reinstalled it from a more trusted source that focuses on safe and verified apps and the experience definitely improved.
Could this be related to compatibility issues with Windows 10, background services, or maybe missing dependencies like .NET or Visual C++ redistributables? I’d appreciate any suggestions—especially from users who’ve dealt with app lag on Windows laptops.
