Here’s a fun one, I just got called to visit a US airport that wants a cooled camera thermal scanning for viruses and flu in travellers.
This is nothing new really, airports have used thermal imaging to sense fever and hot spots in travellers for years, it was a big issue during the SARS and Swine Flu breakouts too.
So, while some opt to wear tinfoil hats to avoid detection from Big Brother, what about simple techynology like thermal scanning. Maybe you are feeling a bit rough and a visit to the airport will tell you if you are realy sick or just a bit hot under the collar. Just think, no more waiting for a doctor’s appointment, now you can just visist your local airport at your convenience. 😀
