ASIP Mac Server -Directory Issue

by richard-3d . Updated 22 years, 1 month ago

We have an Apple Server ASIP 6.3.1 running
on OS 9.04 (Mac G4). We have 2 directories
serving the Mac department and 1 directory
serving the Windows users (world wide). I
created another directory to handle some of
the Windows load. I gave this 4th directory the
same access settings/privileges as the main
Windows directory. The problem is: Two
folders (sub-directories) show up when
Windows? users view the new 4th directory
(TheVolumeSetting Folder and a Network
Trash Folder (the Macs only see
TheVolumeSetting Folder) ). Question: How
do I make these folders invisible? Why are
they showing up? (They don’t show in the
other 3 directories. Is this a limitation of the
server software? 3 directories max?) Thanks.
