asp database

Hello I am having issues pulling images onto my page.. here is my code

<%If filesys.FileExists(picPath & objRec("author") & ".jpg") Then%>
_1.jpg” border=1><%Else%>
.jpg” width=85 height=85 border=0>
<%End If%>

What am I doing wrong.. I have this and when I look for the source of the image i get “name%20%20.jpg” I cannot get the %20%20 removed. HELP!
