Auto mapping drives

Hello, I am a novice admin and I have a question. I set up a LAN for a client of mine. Everything works fine, but, I had to physicly map his computer to his drive on the server. What steps do I use that will enable automatic mapping no matter what computer he uses as long as his name and password are correct when logging into windows?
