Not really a discussion topic, but I wanted to pass on info about a great freeware util that I spotted. Autoupdater , updated monthly, applies all outstanding MS updates for xp win2k and 2003 post the latest service pack for each platform – as well as a ton of optional extras (wmp, msn messenger, mdac, directx etc) – automatically and in a single hit. You can configure it to apply as much or as little as you like and it can be run silently too. I think this great, esp for those of us who regularly build \ rebuild machines. Check it out at –
