Azure authentication

Hi All,

I created a new account on Windows 10 by selecting “Access Work or School Account”. I’m noticing that I am unable to authenticate and login to the machine using the newly created account. The machine is not AD joined. Does a machine have to be Azure AD joined to login using an Azure account? I’m somewhat rusty on this topic.
