Backing up Groupwise mail.

We currently are using Groupwise 5.5 as well as the associated backup routine on a Windows N.T. 4.0 server. The problem is that we cannot get Gwbak.exe to run autmatically via a batch file, and it must be run each day manually. What could be the issue??
