Bank Information Security Officer

Hello All,

I have a mentor/friend who called me today thinking that I did IT work for banks. I do not, but it led me to post this question for him…

If a person were very experienced in many years’ worth of technologies: NOS’, Networking, Security, Programming – and had the experience and management experience to possibly transfer into a Informatio nSecurity Officer at a bank, what kind of role would they be expected to fill?

What kind of skill sets would they be faced with, and what kind of questions should they expect from the interview? I’ve never seen any positions posted for this kind of level, so I’m not sure what to lead him toward, so can you help?
