Batch Resizing

looking for recommendations.

What is the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to resize JPGs in bulk?

I constantly have to reduce the dimensions of ones taken from digital cameras so that they can be uploaded to sites or attached in email. I sometimes have over 50 at once.
