Best place to install Linux?

I purchased a copy of Red Hat 7.0 from a distributor, but my version did not come with any manuals or instructions. I attempted to install Linux on my machine currently running Windows Me but was unsuccessful (since FIPS would not work properly andthe Red Hat installer could not set up a partition for Linux). Therefore, I was thinking of taking my computer to somewhere like CompUSA to have Red Hat 7.0installed professionally. The thing is, I was just wondering where the best place to do this is, since I was unsure about what computer stores service Linux?
