best way to post printable hierarchical documents for different devices

For example a portfolio of PowerPoint files that can be interlinked and navigated as webpages, retain their format when viewed and printed from different devices, enables tagged searching functionality, and can be updated easily by those who have permissions.
Would PowerPoint work for this (pro’s / con’s), or should we look at SharePoint?
