BIOS Won’t Load on Power-On

Problem:
Upon powering on the computer, the manufacturer logo appears, though none of the power-on self-test procedures begin. The system simply hangs.

History:
Attempted to install MS Windows 98SE, which froze during the initial scans of the system (analyzing devices).
Attempted to install MS Windows ME, which froze at the same point.
Problem began after this step.
