Blank navigation bar appears everytime i pull up keyboard

This has only been around for a couple of hours, but it seems that everytime i open up my keyboard (either swiftkey or stock) on my galaxy s8, the navigation bar turns into a blank white space. I didn’t tamper with any settings prior to this, it just appeared out of the blue, which seemed unusual. The buttons still work as they are supposed to but its just a really annoying thing that i wish to get rid of. Do note that I am using navbar apps and it didn’t make a difference if i uninstalled it or not. Any fixes?
