Browser and emails being interrupted.

I have a HP Envy All-in-One running Windows 8. 8GB Memory, 1 TB Hard Drive. When using email or a browser a message pops
interrupting the session “Game Mode” and video is not available. We do not use this computer for any games. What can I do to stop these interruptions?
