Browsers not accessing web pages, only search results…

Hello,

I am having two problems, maybe they’re related…

First, Chrome and Firefox are not accessing web pages, only the search results. When I click on a search result (or a bookmarked page) I get a blank loading screen which goes on foreever….

Not sure if this is related to the Conduit bar I have inadvertently installed… Dopey I know, but I’m npot the techiest person in the world and think it may have come from Bit Torrent or some such. Anyway, I need to fix this problem fast, plese help!
