builder.com in relation to techrepulic

As a paying member of techrepublic can someone shed some light on the differences between it and the new builder.com?
I note that afew of the authors are ex-techrepublic so is the content going to be the same, or published across sites after afew months??
Basically will the free new builder.com downgrade the subscription based services on techrepublic??
