burning question

Hello, techies :

My husband has downloaded a movie for me on his laptop. It is roughly 735 MB is size.
I do not have a DVD burner on our computer.
Can I save the movie to a cd, if so, can I reduce it somehow so that it will fit onto 1 cd?
Using roxio or nero programs, can this be done ?
