Can a Sybase Guy Work easily on MSSQL 7

As there is a 99% similarity between the commands of MSSQL 7 and Sybase, I want to know can a Sybase guy work comfortably on MS SQL Server 7.0 as a developer or DBA by adapting the additional features of MS SQL 7.0. How can one convince this to the PM or your team members?
