Can connect but nothigns goin on …

Hi,
I’m using Linux-Mandrake with a kppp dial up program. I can connect to the ISP no prob but whne I go to to netscape or anyhting else it doesn’t recognize the connection and acts as if I’m not connected at all.

Any tips?
