Can I kill MS now or later?

I seem to have a problem with my Win2K machine and it’s floppy drive. I am on a network and all the other machines, save one, are Win2K and none of them have any trouble with thier floppy drives. I am the only one and of course I’m the only tech in the place. Is there anything that I’m doing wrong in Win2k to access a floppy disk? I just clik on it in My Computer or select it with the program, and it gives me various errors depending on when/how I access it.
