Can MSCE hold good for a developer

Hi All,
Iam a SW developer with 2 yrs of experience of SW development in Microsoft Technologies.I wishes to do a certification namely MSCE since im interested in networking.Do that hold good for me in future?More over if i have to go for MSCD then i think i have to do in .NET platform.So can any body help?
