Cannot Print to a Local Print when on a Remote Connection

by jerseyjoe . Updated 18 years ago

I have a user at a remote location who remotes in a computer at our office. Whenever she tries to print a document from her remote computer here to her desktop printer there, it always gets stuck in the print queue and it will not delete either unless the spooler is stopped and restarted. I’ve set her printer properties to Share with a sharename of myprinter3. I’ve typed the following command on her computer at our office: net use lpt1: \\computername\myprinter3 /persistent:yes
It sends documents to her workstation printer spool, but it simply will not print.
