can’t boot laptop

I’ve tried to boot with ultimate boot cd and it will not boot. can’t load windows on it. all it’ll do is come on, show specifications of computer and say press F2 to change settings but I can’t even do that because I got the laptop at a pawnshop a couple of years ago and it worked good up to about 2 months ago then it started going haywire and finally wouldn’t come on like it’s supposed to.Now I only get a reading of: SETUPDD.SYS-PAGE-FAULT-IN NONPAGED-AREA.
