can’t connect to exchange server using IMAP on Fedora Core Linux

i am using fedora core Linux, i enable the basic firewall and enable the IMAP through it but i keep getting connection refuse i can send email.
what other stuff do i need to enable on the Fedora Linux to successfully connect to the exchange server 2003?
