Can’t email zip file

When I try to email a zip file from one clients Outlook 2003 it sends the mail and the zip file but when the recipient opens the zip file it is empty. I can send this particular user zip files all day from my Outlook 2007 and they still contain the files but when I send zip files from her Outlook 2003 they are empty. Whats the deal?
