Can’t stop Office2K from showing Profile

by biz-tec . Updated 25 years, 10 months ago

I’m administering Office 2000 in a NT4 Terminal Server environment and I
need to be able to stop Users from getting outside their Profiled home
directory when they log on from 3.11, 9x stations.

When users log on and pick up their Profile and their Policy (tsconfig.pol),
and then open up Word 2K and try to save or open a file, then the Look in or
Save in drop down
menu shows them the full path to their Profile which is on the one stand
alone Terminal Server. Their profile and policy isreally on the third
partition F:\ of the same hard drive but Terminal Server copied it to the
System partition ” C:\wtsvr\profiles\’user’ “.

Things I’ve tried:
1)I’ve locked it down as much as possible with the System Policy Editor
including the use of the new office templates.
2) I’ve installed the SR1a patch for Office 2000.
3) I even tried Microsoft’ ZAK zero administration kit for Terminal Server,
but this still gives them access to other users profiles.

Help!!!
