Career Crossroad

I’m at a point in may career where I’m
trying to decide which road to take. I
currently support and manage NT and
HP-UX servers and have a background in
LAN support.

I would like to get into network
engineering and routing, but I can’t get
an opportunity because I don’t have
“hands on” Cisco experience. When I
search for Unix positions, everybody
wants Solaris admins, not HP-UX.

Does anyone have any suggestions on
how to get into get into those fields?
