career guidance

i have done b.tech in computer science and engineering from rec jalandhar in 2001.for the last 2 and half years i have been working in small comapnies in Vb 6.0 and Oracle 8 environment.My last comapny has closed its software department so ia have shifted to bangalore.what should i do now?should i go fro some couse viz .net if so from where?
