Career Transition

Hello, I’m currently in the US Navy. My job title is IT even though currently I harldy do any type of IT work. The job I do mostly i in telecommunications. Soon I’m going to be leaving this military for a real world job. I’m really interested in working in Australia or almost anywhere. Anyone have any type of advice to pass to me? Thanks
