I have a BS in CS, graduated and started working four years ago. I spent 2 years in tech support, 1 year doing minor SW dev. and 1 year studying abroad. All this time I’d been thinking that I wanted to be a SysAdmin rather than a developer. I finally got my chance: I started today at a mid-sized consulting firm. But now I realize that I have no idea what can I do with my career in the future. Maybe I should’ve stick to web app dev?
A developer may become a Project Leader and Manager some day… but what can a SysAdmin become with time, work, work, more work and experience?
