CD copy utlity

Does anyone know of a freeware utlity to copy CD’s? I have a disk I use that is bootable with some tools on it that I find very helpful. Being the swell guy I am 🙂 I am trying to share it with one of my collegues. I have folder options set to show all hidden and system files so I know there are no missing files, however the CD’s that I copy still will not boot. I even tried to cearte an image of the disk and burn it that way. There is obviously something about the disk I am missing.
Legal Note: this was an opensource disk I downloaded many moons ago. I am not violating any copy right laws yada yada. 🙂
