CD ROM Server ?

I have approx. 300 CDs with Technical Data / Diagrams / Manuals. Some of these CDs get updated every month or so. They are currently in a library and are used on a needs basis on a stand-alone PC which has the various readers installed. It is required that these CDs be shared over the network.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how this might be done ? Bearing in mind that the number of CDs will only increase as time goes on. And the budget is limited.
