Our company is currently using Livevault for our backups. They have marked their product as end of life, so we’re having to find a new company to use for our backups. We have about 30 Win2k servers that currently back up to it, (which include 2 Exchange 2000 servers and many SQL 7 and SQL 2000 servers) and we have 10 SCO UNIX servers that we will be adding to the new system, that do not currently use a centralized backup strategy. (Tape drives in every server, it’s lots of fun every morning) So far we’ve considered Veritas’ NetBackup, and Galaxy’s Commvault. However, I’d liek to broaden our horizons a bit and see what else is out there. I’m just looking for thoughts, concerns, praises and of course, what products have given the most headaches, so I can steer clear of those. thanks for all your input,
