Changing Careers

by rejette . Updated 24 years ago

I welcome any advice on how to focus on the right position and remain focused. I’ve recently been transitioning from managing people to managing computers. However, managing people is still in my blood. I have the following training and experience: A+ Certified, MS Office Suite, Crystal Reports, VB6.0 Programming, Call Center Management and Supervision, 20+ years customer service. My problem is that I’m having difficulty staying focused on one career path. I love training, I’m intrigued with programing and design work, I’m interested in learning web design and db programming. I realize that Network+ is the next step after A+; but I’m just not picking up the Network+. I find it’s too hard; or perhaps, I just have no passion for that type of work. Based on the above, what would you suggest to a person who is flying all over the map and not sure where to land? I’m really troubled about this. Thanks!
