Changing the segmented green progress bar in windows xp

by winch1020 . Updated 17 years, 10 months ago

Does anyone know of a tweak for changing the unattractive segmented green progress bar in windows xp to a solid green colour, without having to install another software application language such as visual basic onto the xp operating sustem. The Sonic progress bar program
has to be run on a program such as visual basic.
If you try running the Sonic progress bar directly on xp, it opens up as just another file in its own window.
Also, the progress bar program that is available for free download [source code] on the codeproject.com web site has to be run on an application such as visual basic.
I would like to be able to delete that thin vertical white line that is in each of the green segements of the xp progress bar or as I call it, the loading indicator status bar.
Thanks, Rbtbob
