Cisco VPN

I’m trying to make a VPN connection by joining up to a Cisco 3640 router based off-site.

It’s not working!

Can’t help wondering if it’s because I haven’t got another router up at my end. Do I need one?

And secondly, is it because I am trying to do it from a pc inside my LAN, as apposed to one directly connected to the net?

I’ve got all the DUN updates, i.e. 5.01 and so on and so forth, running on win95.

Do I need to do any configuring of the cisco router at the other end?

Any help would be immensely appreciated!
