cleaning broken links from pin to start menu, all profiles, Windows XP SP2

Background.

had 2 computers with multiple profiles in conference rooms. needed to upgrade Office 2003 to 2007 with losing all setting for LiveMeeting. Some network guys and programmers “fixed” the 2007 install to just upgrade without removeing any settings.

Problem.

I have all of the Office 2003 broken links on the Pin To meun on 2 computers with 30-40 profiles each. Most are high level executives and i’m not allow to have the passwords to log in and remove the links manually.

Anyone know of a way to remove those broken links from the pin to menu from 40 profiles all at once? someone tried to write a VBscript to do this but the script just errors out and the executives call everytime they log on.
