Co-Operation in jeopardy

by kuryous1 . Updated 21 years, 11 months ago

We have recently up-graded our network to new components from servers to clients to routers, the whole works. With the old NT system, and not connected to the internet, network management wasn’t taken seriously. Soon, I’ll be leaving and they have no one to maintain the system (because it was never an issue in the past.) Now, I basically do all the networking maintenance and up-dates for the servers and routers and I can’t seem to instill a sense of urgency to get someone trained or pay for a qualified systems administrator. Any suggestions other than simply communicating the obvious about security and redundancy? Thanks in advance!
