COBOL job ?

I was recently approached by a senior executive
of a major pc software company, who wanted to hire me to work on COBOL/mainframe development. This company, to my knowledge, has never even dealt with any type of COBOL development. I was
told that Iwould have to sign a document which
states that I can not discuss the nature of this
project with anyone, including my family. Does
anyone have a clue as to why a PC company wants
to develop COBOL applications/products?
