ColdFusion

Someone in my company came up with a proposal to use ColdFusion for filling forms on the web. Can anyone with experience in managing a web server with ColdFusion running tell me how much time it takes to maintain the server? What would be the bestpick for a server, OS, web server?
Any info and details would be appreciated ’cause I have no experience with this.
