Common Sense?

I received an email this morning from a colleague:

The kitchen down here has a couple of cleaners mopping the floor and work surfaces, whilst muttering darkly.
On the wall is a brand new notice that reads “Do not use the kettle for boiling milk.”

Nice chuckle for a Friday morning.

Anyone else have any stories about supposedly intelligent people making common sense blunders?
