COMPILING OR EXECUTING C++ IN UNIX(Installed on Windows Machine)

I am new to progamming. I am trying to learn C++ in UNix environment. I have basic UNix knowledge. I would like to compile and run c++ programs in UNix which I installed on a WIndows Laptop. Could anyone help me plese.
